Ground crew for autonomous fleets · Miami

Driverless
doesn't mean crewless.

When a self-driving car needs a human, for a cabin reset, a blocked sensor, a lost phone, or a dead charge, FleetKind sends the nearest trained crew member and sends you back photo proof.

Now talking with autonomous fleet operators in South Florida.

The problem

No driver means no one to fix the small stuff.

A human driver quietly handles dozens of small problems every shift. Take the driver out, and every one of them becomes a car that can't take the next ride.

Dirty

A messy cabin

Spills, trash, and smells. The next rider won't get in, and the car sits until someone shows up to clean it.

Blocked

Sensors that can't see

Mud, bird droppings, or debris on a camera or lidar can pull a car out of service, even though everything else works.

Left behind

Lost items

Phones, wallets, and keys get left in the back seat. Riders want them back fast, and the car needs to keep moving.

Stranded

Stuck, flat, or out of charge

A flat tire, a low battery, or a car stopped where it shouldn't be. It needs hands on site, not just remote help.

Services

Everything a robotaxi needs a human for.

One crew member, trained on every job type, so a single visit handles the whole problem.

Cabin resets

Fast cleans between rides: spills, trash, seats, and surfaces, checked against your standards.

Sensor & camera cleaning

Careful cleaning of lidar, cameras, and sensor housings, following your approved procedures.

Lost item retrieval

We collect, photograph, and log what riders leave behind, then get it back to them or to your hub.

Charging & plug-in

Plug in and unplug vehicles at chargers and depots, so cars aren't waiting on a person who isn't there.

Tires & roadside help

Tire pressure, flats, and minor roadside issues handled on site, or the car made safe until a tow arrives.

Recovery & repositioning

When a vehicle is stuck or needs to be moved, a qualified crew member handles it, only with your authorization.

For AV operators

A ground crew you don't have to hire, house, or schedule.

Depots and in-house staff work for planned maintenance. The unplanned stuff happens all over the city, at any hour. That's what FleetKind covers.

Why FleetKind

Built by an operator, not just a tech team.

FleetKind was started by someone who has done the work: running fleet and rental operations, detailing cars, and recovering vehicles. We know what it takes to get a car ready fast, every time. Autonomous fleets need exactly that, without a driver to do it.

Read our story
  • We've worked the lot

Hands-on fleet experience shapes how every job is scoped, checked, and reported.

  • Standards, not guesswork

Every job type has a checklist. Every finished job has photos.

  • One crew member, many jobs

FAQ

Questions operators and crew ask us.

Do you only work with autonomous vehicles?

Yes. FleetKind is built specifically for driverless and autonomous fleets: robotaxis, autonomous delivery vehicles, and the operators testing them.

Where does FleetKind operate?

We're starting in Miami and South Florida. If your fleet runs somewhere else, request access anyway. It tells us where to go next.

How does a crew member get into the vehicle?

Only through you. Access is granted by your systems, for the specific vehicle and job you assigned, and it ends when the job is done. Crew members never get open-ended access.

How fast does a crew member arrive?

We set response-time targets with each operator based on area, job type, and volume, and we report against them. We won't quote a number we haven't measured.

How do I know the job was done right?

Every job ends with before-and-after photos, a completed checklist, and timestamps. If something looks off, you'll see it.

Are jobs insured?
[PLACEHOLDER — describe insurance coverage here once policies are confirmed. Do not publish until verified.]
How do crew members get paid?

Per job. You see the pay before you accept, and completed jobs go into your earnings. Payout details will be shared before launch.

Do I need a car to join the crew?

Not always. Many jobs are close together in busy areas. You'll need an iPhone for the FleetKind Crew app. Tell us what you have when you join the waitlist.
